What is 3D Printing?

A brief explanation

3D printing is the process in which a part is created by slicing a model into layers and having a machine "print" those layers using different materials. We use 2 printable materials, PolyLactic Acid (PLA) and Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS). PLA is a cheap, non-toxic material that is relatively easy to print with but it can be very temperature sensitive for example setting the print in  a car dashboard in the middle of summer may cause it to droop or sag. ABS is also great for models that will see abuse and high temperatures but is not non-toxic. We recommend PLA for any print that is not structurally demanding such as a tabletop miniature or a child's toy for its non-toxic properties.

Please consider this factor when ordering prints.
